Bloom Presents: A Celebration of Women in Music

In honour of International Women’s Day, Bloom presents a one-night-only showcase celebrating women musicians and vocalists from Saskatoon’s music community. This event was created to support connection and collaboration among women in music. While there is no shortage of talent in our city, women artists are often spread across different projects and bands. This night brings them together on one stage to share music, creativity, and community. Last year’s show sold out quickly, and the response made it clear this celebration deserved to grow. This year, A Celebration of Women in Music moves to the iconic Roxy Theatre, creating space for more people to experience the energy and artistry that make this night so meaningful. This celebration is proudly partnered with Lunar Music, whose collaboration helped shape the atmosphere of the evening and support the vision of this event. We’re also excited to have The Goddess Series open the night with a special set, setting the tone for an intentional and inspiring celebration of women in music. We’re honoured to welcome Gillian Snider as a guest speaker. A respected musician, educator, and arts advocate, Gillian will share a short presentation on women in music history, adding reflection and context to the evening. Guests are invited to arrive early and explore the lobby, featuring local women-led businesses and creatives, making the night feel like a full celebration from the moment doors open.
